Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the website located at bizon-tech.com (the “Site”), to the BIZON Store, to BIZON’s sales, support and warranty services, and to the Z-Hub application and other BIZON software that requires an account (together, the “Services”), which are owned and operated by Technostore LLC, dba BIZON, 3005 Greene St, Hollywood, FL 33020, USA (“BIZON”, “we”, “us”). BIZON is the controller of the personal information described in this Policy.

If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Site or Services. By accessing or using the Site or Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Policy forms part of the Website Terms of Use and, for purchases, the BIZON Terms of Sale.

Our Commitment to Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. BIZON does not sell, trade, or rent your personal or contact information to other marketers. This has been our unwavering operating policy since the founding of the company.

The Information We Collect

We collect several types of information from and about our customers and users of our Site and Services, including information:

• by which you may be personally identified, such as name, company, job title, postal address, e-mail address or telephone number (“personal information”);
• that is about you but individually does not identify you; and/or
• about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Site and usage details.

We collect this information:

• Directly from you when you provide it to us.
• Automatically as you navigate through the Site. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses and information collected through cookies, pixels and other tracking technologies.
• From third parties, such as our payment processor (confirmation of payment and fraud-screening results), shipping carriers (delivery status), financing partners (approval status), and public business registries and restricted-party screening databases (see “Export Compliance Screening” below).

Information You Provide to Us. The information we collect may include:

• Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Site. This includes information provided at the time of registering a customer account, requesting a quotation, subscribing to our newsletter, using the “Ask an Expert” form, posting a review, placing orders, or requesting further services, and when you report a problem with our Site.
• Records and copies of your correspondence (including e-mail addresses), if you contact us, including support tickets.
• Details of transactions you carry out through our Site and of the fulfillment of your orders, including billing and shipping addresses and the products you purchased.
• Information that you provide through phone, mail and fax interactions or paper registrations that you submit to BIZON.
• Telephone calls. Calls with our sales and support lines may be recorded for quality, training, and record-keeping purposes. You will be informed at the beginning of a recorded call; if you do not wish to be recorded, you may tell the representative or contact us by email instead.
• Remote support sessions. If you request remote technical support, our technicians may connect to your system using remote-access software (currently AnyDesk) only with your permission and for the duration of the session. Remote sessions may be recorded for quality, training and dispute-resolution purposes. During a session, our technician may see information displayed on your screen; we do not copy data from your system except as needed to diagnose the problem, and we ask that you close confidential material before the session. BIZON products and software do not transmit telemetry or usage data to BIZON; diagnostic information is collected only when you provide it in connection with a support request.
• Z-Hub and other account-based software. Using Z-Hub requires a BIZON account; we collect your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and information needed to associate the software with your BIZON product (such as the product serial number and license status).
• Export-compliance and end-user information. For certain products we are required by law and by our suppliers to collect information about the purchaser and the end user, including legal entity name, business registration, ownership, physical deployment address, the identity of contact persons, and the intended end use (see “Export Compliance Screening” below).
• Warranty and service information, such as serial numbers, purchase dates, product configuration and the details of a support or service issue.

Payment information. When you pay by card, your card details are entered directly into, and processed by, our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. BIZON does not receive or store full card numbers; we receive a payment token, the card type, the last four digits, the billing address and the authorization result. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy. For ACH, wire and check payments we receive your bank name and the details needed to match the payment to your order.

Usage Details, IP Addresses, Cookies. As you navigate through and interact with our Site, we may automatically collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns, including details of your visits to our Site (traffic data, approximate location derived from IP address, logs, referring/exit pages and the resources that you access and use on the Site) and information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system and browser type. The technologies we use for this automatic data collection include cookies, pixels, web beacons and log files.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small file that a website places on your device to collect information about your activities on the site or to make it easier to use certain site functions. We use the following categories:

• Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site and the BIZON Store to function (session, shopping cart, account login, security, checkout). These cannot be switched off.
• Analytics cookies — Google Analytics, which helps us understand how visitors use the Site (pages visited, time on site, approximate location, device type) so that we can improve it. Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy; opt-out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Advertising cookies and pixels — Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, which allow us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show BIZON advertisements to people who have visited our Site on those platforms. These providers may associate the information collected with their own records about you under their privacy policies. You can control ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and facebook.com/ads/preferences.

When you first visit the Site, a cookie notice informs you of our use of cookies; by clicking “Accept” or continuing to use the Site you agree to the cookies described in this section, to the extent permitted by the law applicable to you. If you are visiting from a jurisdiction that requires prior consent for analytics or advertising cookies (for example, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom) and you do not wish to accept them, please do not continue to use the Site, use the opt-out links above, or block those cookies in your browser; you can withdraw acceptance at any time by deleting cookies in your browser. You can also set your browser to refuse all or some cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this Site may then be inaccessible or not function properly. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a request to opt out of advertising cookies and of the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How We Use Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:

• To present our Site and its contents to you and to maintain your customer account.
• To provide you with information, products or services that you request from us, including preparing quotations, processing and fulfilling orders, arranging shipping, providing warranty and technical support, and processing returns.
• To send transactional emails and notifications about your orders, quotations, support tickets, warranty service and account (these are not marketing messages and you cannot opt out of them while you have an open order or account).
• To comply with our legal obligations, including export-control and sanctions screening, tax collection and reporting, record-keeping and responding to lawful requests from authorities.
• To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection, fraud prevention and dispute resolution.
• To notify you about changes to our Site or any products or services we offer or provide through it.
• To allow you to participate in interactive features on our Site, such as posting a review.
• For auditing, research, and analysis to improve BIZON’s products, services and the Site.
• To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide information.

We may also use your information to contact you about our goods and services that may be of interest to you. If you do not want us to use your information in this way, please send us an e-mail stating your request to support@bizon-tech.com, or use the unsubscribe link in any promotional e-mail. Note, these opt-outs do not apply to transactional information provided to BIZON as a result of a product purchase, warranty registration, support request or other transaction.

Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland). Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the Swiss FADP applies, we process personal information on the following bases: performance of a contract with you or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (quotations, orders, shipping, support, warranty, accounts); compliance with legal obligations (export controls and sanctions, tax, accounting); our legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site, preventing fraud, improving our products, direct marketing to business customers, defending legal claims), balanced against your interests and rights; and your consent, where we ask for it (non-essential cookies, marketing to individuals where consent is required, call and session recording where consent is required).

Export Compliance Screening

BIZON’s products are subject to U.S. export-control and sanctions laws. Before and after accepting an order we screen the names of purchasers, end users, contact persons, consignees, payers and delivery addresses against government restricted-party lists (including those published by the U.S. Departments of Commerce, Treasury and State, the European Union, the United Kingdom and Canada) using screening databases, and we collect and verify the end-user and end-use information described in the Export Controls and Sanctions Compliance Policy. We share purchaser and end-user information (such as legal entity name, address, contact name and intended end use) with the manufacturers and distributors of the products concerned, including NVIDIA Corporation and its authorized distributors, ASUSTeK Computer Inc. and Micro-Star International Co., Ltd., where they require it as a condition of supply, and with government authorities where required by law or in response to a lawful request. We retain export-compliance records for at least five (5) years as required by the U.S. Export Administration Regulations. This processing is necessary to comply with our legal obligations and to perform our contract with you; we cannot accept orders for the products concerned without it.

Publicly Displayed Information Is Public

You may provide information to be published or displayed on public areas of the Site, such as product reviews and testimonials (collectively, “User Contributions”). Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. If you write a review on the Site, the name you choose to display, your review text and rating are visible to other users; your email address is not displayed. The information you submit can be read, collected, or used by other individuals. BIZON is not responsible for the User Contributions you choose to submit. If you delete your User Contributions from the Site, or ask us to delete them, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or might have been copied or stored by other Site users. Proper access and use of information provided on the Site, including User Contributions, is governed by our Website Terms of Use. Our use of your name and logo as a customer reference is governed by the Terms of Sale, and you may withdraw that consent as described there.

Information Disclosure

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction. We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this Privacy Policy:

• To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
• To contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business and that are bound to use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it, including: payment processing (Stripe); customer support ticketing (Zendesk); sales tax calculation and filing (TaxJar); shipping carriers and freight companies (FedEx, UPS, DHL and others) and customs brokers; third-party financing partners, when you apply for financing; email delivery services for transactional and marketing email; web analytics and advertising platforms (Google, Meta) as described under Cookies; web hosting and IT infrastructure providers, including our hosting provider located in the United Kingdom; accountants, auditors, lawyers and insurers.
• To the manufacturers and distributors of the products you purchase, for export-compliance purposes (see above), for product warranty registration and RMA processing, and, for software products, for license activation.
• To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of BIZON’s assets.
• For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information, or with your consent.

We may also disclose your personal information:

• To comply with any court order, law or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request, including from export-control and sanctions authorities.
• To enforce or apply our Website Terms of Use, Terms of Sale and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes.
• If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of BIZON, our customers or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection, chargeback defense and credit risk reduction.

We do not sell personal information for money. The use of Google Ads and Meta Pixel on our Site may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under some U.S. state laws; you can opt out as described under Cookies and under “Your Privacy Rights” below.

International Transfers

BIZON is located in the United States, and our Site and customer database are hosted on servers located in the United Kingdom and the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, your personal information will be transferred to the United States, which has not been found to provide an equivalent level of data protection. We transfer such information where necessary for the performance of our contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (such as processing your order and delivering your products), where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, or on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses or another transfer mechanism approved under applicable law. You may request a copy of the applicable safeguards by contacting us.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy and to comply with our legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized. In general: order, invoice, payment and warranty records are retained for seven (7) years after the transaction for tax, accounting and warranty purposes; export-compliance records for at least five (5) years as required by law; support tickets and correspondence for the life of the product warranty plus three (3) years; call recordings and remote-session recordings for up to twelve (12) months unless needed for an open dispute; customer account information for as long as the account is active and three (3) years after the last activity; marketing contact details until you unsubscribe; website logs and analytics data for up to twenty-six (26) months.

Our Commitment to Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures designed to safeguard and secure the information we collect. The Site is served over encrypted (TLS/HTTPS) connections, which help protect the confidentiality of your personal information while it is transmitted over the Internet, and card payments are processed by a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor; BIZON does not store full card numbers. Access to personal information is restricted to employees and contractors who need it to perform their duties.

No method of transmission over the Internet, or electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your personal information with commercially acceptable practices, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site. The safety and security of your information also depends on you: keep your account password confidential and do not share it. We will notify you and, where required, the relevant authorities of a security breach affecting your personal information as required by applicable law.

Links to Other Sites

This Site contains links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by BIZON, including the sites of our financing partners, manufacturers and software publishers. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.

Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, BIZON never knowingly collects or maintains information at our Site from those under 13, and no part of our Site is directed at anyone under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on this Site. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will use our best efforts to delete the information as soon as possible.

Your Privacy Rights

All users. BIZON will make good-faith efforts to provide you with reasonable access to your personal information for the purpose of reviewing and correcting this data. You may update your account information at any time by logging into your account, and you may unsubscribe from marketing e-mail using the link in any such e-mail. To request access, correction or deletion, or to ask questions about this Policy, contact us at support@bizon-tech.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may retain information that we are required by law or legitimately need to keep (for example, transaction and export-compliance records).

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. As a data subject you have the following data protection rights, subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law:

• The right to request a copy of your personal data which we hold about you.
• The right to request that we correct any personal data if it is found to be inaccurate or out of date.
• The right to request that we erase your personal data where it is no longer necessary for us to retain such data, except that we are not obliged to do so if we need to retain such data in order to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
• The right to withdraw your consent to the processing at any time, where we rely on your consent to process your data. This includes cases where you wish to opt out from marketing communications that you receive from us.
• The right to request that we provide you with your data and, where possible, to transmit that data directly to another data controller, where the processing is based on your consent or is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, and in either case we process the data by automated means.
• The right to restrict our processing of your personal data where you believe such data to be inaccurate, our processing is unlawful, or we no longer need to process such data for a particular purpose, unless we are not able to delete the data due to a legal or other obligation or because you do not wish for us to delete it.
• The right to object to us using your personal data, where the legal justification for our processing of your personal data is our legitimate interest. We will abide by your request unless we have compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests and rights, or if we need to continue to process the data for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. You may object to direct marketing at any time.
• The right to lodge a complaint regarding our processing of your data with the competent supervisory authority where you reside or in which your data is processed (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

Should you ever wish to exercise one or more of these rights you should email support@bizon-tech.com. We respond to all requests we receive from individuals wishing to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable data protection laws, normally within one month.

California and other U.S. states. If you are a resident of California or of another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information, to the extent that law applies to BIZON:

• Right to know: to request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to which we have disclosed it. The categories we collect are described under “The Information We Collect”; the recipients under “Information Disclosure”.
• Right to delete: to request deletion of your personal information, subject to exceptions (for example, to complete a transaction, comply with a legal obligation, or defend legal claims).
• Right to correct: to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information: we do not sell personal information. To opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, enable the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, use the Google and Meta opt-out links under “Cookies and Similar Technologies”, block advertising cookies in your browser, or email us.
• Right to non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we will require proof of the agent’s authority and may verify your identity directly. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by law. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Do Not Track. Our Site honors the Global Privacy Control signal as described above. We do not otherwise respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, for which no uniform standard has been adopted.

Business Contacts and Job Applicants

If you contact us on behalf of your employer or organization, we process your business contact details as described in this Policy in order to deal with that organization. If you apply for a job at BIZON, we use the information in your application to evaluate your candidacy and, where required, to comply with employment laws; we retain applications for up to two (2) years unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Changes in this Privacy Policy

If we decide to materially change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes to this Privacy Policy and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it, and we will update the “Last updated” date above. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Your continued use of this Site after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes.
