NVIDIA TITAN RTX graphics cards are very specific.
TITAN RTX's cooling system is designed to block using them in any desktops or servers with multi-GPU configurations. TITAN RTX with blower-fans is not available.

Technically they fit in the case, but once you start any computations tasks, all the GPUs will immediately overheat and stop working.
GPU will activate thermal throttling mode. Thermal throttling means that the fans can no longer dissipate heat fast enough to keep temperatures within a safe range and graphics card starts to dump performance to shed heat.

Per our benchmarks, we have seen up to 80% (!) of the performance drop on EACH GPU. Some of the GPUs may stop working at all. Permanent thermal throttling may damage the GPUs. That's why no on the market do not offer a GPU Server with 8-10 x NVIDIA RTX.

  • Idle temperature: 33 C
  • Max load noise level (stress test): up to 59 db
  • Max load temperature (GPUs): 59 C
  • Performance: 100%. No overheating –> No performance drop. 24/7 stable.


Air-cooled NVIDIA A100 80GB, RTX A6000 (normal fan speed):

  • Idle noise level: up to 90 db
  • Idle temperature: 40C
  • Max load noise level (deep learning benchmark): up to 80 db
  • Max load temperature (GPUs): 86-88C
  • Warning! GPUs are overheating and dump down the performance up to 6X times.

Air cooled NVIDIA TITAN RTX (max fan speed):

  • Idle noise level: 92 db (warning!)
  • Idle temperature: 40C
  • Max load noise level (deep learning benchmark): 92 db (warning!)
  • Max load temperature (GPUs): 86-88C
  • Performance (deep learning): 3X times lower (300 vs. 900)
  • Performance (rendering / luxmark): 2X times lower (92000 vs. 190000)
  • Warning! GPUs are overheating and dump down the performance up to 3X times.
